Mike Detillier's observations on Nussmeier from Dandy Don.

There’s no question. He’s injured. To what extent, only a few really know. But he’s not making the throws he made a year ago, and his accuracy has varied. He’s always going to take some chances, it’s who he is, but you can tell something is not right physically with him. No one ever questioned his arm strength, but the ball is just flat on him, and he’s short or inaccurate with some throws. No question, his injury has affected his play.
He’s a competitor, too, so sometimes, as a coach and with advice from a medical staff, you have to protect him also.
Frank should address what his injury really is. He's clearly not on the right side of healing as BK stated.

Is NIL money the reason we haven't just addressed this and played the backup?

This season is a mulligan for Nuss because of both his injury and lack of OL/coaching.

Don't know but an abdominal injury pretty much ended Myles Brennan's playing days, hate to see it happen to Nuss.

Its painfully obvious (no pun intended) if you know a lick of football.

Maybe for you, but what will NFL teams think? I’m asking the question because I have no idea? It will be interesting to see how NFL teams view this past year for Nuss.

He speaks like if he has all of current/past coaches, GM's and players on speed dial. Basically, all of his talking points are obvious statements.

There’s no question. He’s injured.

So obvious. I really don’t understand how people still claim he isn’t hurt.
The contrast between Marcel Reed’s passes and his were comical. Hell the contrast vs MVB’s first throw.
Anyone think Reed has an arm strength advantage on Nussmeier under normal circumstances?
That said, he’s not perfect when healthy. Pocket presence leaves some to be desired & seems he never really had a grip on the deep ball.

He has a muscle tear in his core. That’s the truth

you forgot to mention that Detillier went on to say that we should start Nussmeier and he's the guy. I don't get it. Makes absolutely no sense.

Psoas muscle? If so that would explain everything.

Yes, he’s injured. And I’m sure it’s affected his throwing but I just don’t see the competitiveness, that burning desire to succeed that we’re used to with Joe Borrow and Jayden Daniel’s.

He is going to be one of the most interesting guys EVER at pro day at LSU. And he better not "pass" (no pun intended) on the tests they run the QB through. Pro day is going to decide whether he is a 2nd day pick or a 3rd day pick. IMO, he has 0% chance of being a 1st day selection because these days QB statues aren't the premier guys they want. Dual threat or at least very mobile QBs are in...the old Ben Rothlisbergers, etc are not in vogue.

Then why does Nuss deny having an injury? Why did the coaching staff not come out and say he is as well? Why has the current interim head coach stated it?
Why would a kid who is "hurt" not come out and say it when his play is awful and it's tanking his draft stock?
Why would we play him against teams like SE, instead of letting him rest?

Nah, tripping on his flip flops while drinking at the Danos fishing camp killed his career.

This is idiotic local no nothing takes. Nuss has mental things holding him back that also impact his play beyond decision making. He made all the same bad throws and mistakes last year
