His offenses are usually at or near the top of the SEC in total offense.

He’s OU bound once the Venables era runs its course

Would love. I like great offenses. Leads the SEC in offense.

I know this is weird but I don’t like the idea of a fat coach.

Part of me looks at them and says “they lack discipline” and if “they lack discipline so does the team”

This does not apply to the NFL level.

Yep, he had a big falling out with OU. That’s probably not happening.

I keep hearing from some that Tenn will outplay anyone to retain. Assuming LSU and Tenn are about even in what they would offer, I would think it would be to his advantage here because of the talent. Knoxville ain’t producing a lot of football talent, and it’s a bit of a haul to where the talent is.

Same AD at Tennessee hired him while he was AD at UCF. Loyalty might be the issue here.

Tennessee has very deep pockets and is only a short drive from some very talent rich areas. They are desperate for a championship, but more importantly will do whatever it takes to stay out of the football hell they were in for the 2010’s. The whole system is aligned on that. We aren’t prying him away. We couldn’t get Vitello here with all the advantages we have over them in baseball. I just don’t see it.
