Landry Just TORPEDOED LSU's Coaching Search
Now there's NO way a top tier candidate, like Kiffin, is going to come to LSU, only to have our imbecile governor looking over his shoulder.
While I didn't think Kelly was a great hire, under Woodward, LSU's athletic department was absolutely one of the most competitive in the nation, practically winning a national championship every year. That is an insane accomplishment. Most universities NEVER win one natty EVER in their history. For instance, when our rival Ole Miss recently won its baseball natty it was the first natty in school history.
LSU will NOT be able to find a comparable replacement for Woodward. We just won't. Such accomplishments do not simply grow on trees.
And now, the school has to replace, not one, but two of the biggest positions in the athletic department, with Gov. Kilroy micromananging the process.
Maybe he could drag his rent-a-tiger through Tiger Stadium again.
One can't help but wonder what other functions of the state Landry is f-ing up that we're not aware of, simply because a given function isn't as popular as LSU football.

Kiffin is not a top tier candidate nor was he coming to Baton Rouge regardless of who selects. Ole Miss is the only school that puts up with his awful in game decision making.
How many times would he be forgiven for going for it on 4th down on his 30 yard line and not make it by THIS crowd?

landry pulled back the curtain and exposed what a clown and corrupt failure woody was.
was garbage in 3 contracts. jimbo, O extension and kelly. was garbage in allowing the verbiage in the contract stating taxpayers as the guarantors if donors did not wanna pay buyouts, etc. woodwards own contract was a joke.
also a chode to john bel edwards and james carville.

What the hell happened to critical thinking on this board? I mean, you’re quoting Moscona? Dellenger is quoting Carville which is being requoted by others likes it’s gospel. Woodward’s mouthpieces are all over the place stirring it up. Landry deserves to take a lot of the blame but the hyperbole is over the top.
