My money’s on Woodward.

If your money is on an athletic director who serves at the pleasure of a board appointed by the governor vs a governor, you’re going to lose.

Scott was heavily involved in assistant coaching hires for Brian Kelly the last two years. I'd say that and his basketball hire prove that all Woodward is good at is throwing other people's big money at coaches to intice them to come to his school.

My man, you don’t have a preference between the two in terms of who should be running the athletic department?
We had a hire that didn’t work out, but also was not a net negative. All for using consultants on the next hire, but firing Woodward would be reactionary and almost unarguably strictly political.
The athletic department is in fantastic, fantastic shape in terms of infrastructure, organization, and revenue. We would let Landry parlay the admin coming up with the buyout money into throwing a wrench into that?

Does anyone know which coaches?
Brian kelly couldn't hire his own coaches or does Woodward really like sticking his nose in things?
