Yeah that tells you how checked out the refs are and how seriously people take the regular season. That's like NFL Pro Bowl level officiating.

I can forgive missing the occasional 3 step travel, at real speed it can be hard to spot every single extra step.

However that's like 8 steps from beyond the 3 arc to right under the basket.

I get that Westbrook gif and the one of Lebron get posted and yes they are egregious but at least they don’t provide a competitive advantage.

It’s just lazy and blatant disregard of the rules.

This Giannis clip is a competitive advantage

SIX steps without drippling. Easiest call of an Officials' life & they don't call it.

It’s completely legal, you can step as many times while gathering, dribble doesn’t stop until two hands are on the ball or it is secured.

Three refs and not one of them is watching the ball handler?

Of course, seven refs work an NFL game and not one "saw" textbook pass interference and helmet-to-helmet contact on the same play.

They're making it easier and easier to turn it off...

This is a rule problem, not a call on the court issue.

You can take as many steps as you want while “dribbling,” which makes sense. The issue here is actually palming/ carrying.

I finally gave up on it last season. It’s just a shite tier league.
