Everyone was hoping for Alabama & FSU. A shaky Alabama team was perceived as the best team from the toughest division. Now, we have a 2 vs 4, where no one wants to get behind the underdog (4), because it is not a Cinderella type team. If TCU was 4, there would be more excitement.

It is quite obvious to me, why a committee was added. Simply cronyism and match-up making. The BCS did well enough finding the top teams. I mean, you go from a tested formula...
