When did you first start to realize that Kelly would not work at lsu?

I thought he would at first but going 8-4 in year 3 was enough for me to know he will never make it.

Mid 2nd season I started to doubt, but wouldn’t let myself believe it.
After Vanderbilt I said no SEC coach survives the fukkin Vanderbilt qb striking a Heisman pose while they are beating you.
I had no idea it would be that fast though.

If I'm being honest I thought he could get it figured out pretty late. I was pretty much of the mind this was the year he needs to put up and get us a team that at least can compete for a championship or gtho and thought we still had a chance up until the ole miss game. That game pissed me off and really confirmed to me he was just an idiot that needed to go.

Opener vs USC for me. Stubbornness in trying to force the run game when it wasn't working directly led to losing a winnable game.
Shock at an OL with two talented OTs not being enough to bully a freaking USC DL, ending with BK making a fist-pounding fool of himself in postgame.

When he had his Cauble meltdown after UF. He clearly thought nothing was wrong and I knew we were fricked this year and that would be the end of him.

The 3 game slide last year was when I thought he was not cut out for this. Watching that offense, that O-Line play.
But I wasn’t sure because I haven’t watched enough years of CFB to really have enough perspective. I watched NFL all my life - and that’s not the same thing.

2nd year pretty much told you all you needed to know. How can you not even sniff the playoff with that offense? Just needed the defense to lay it all out on the line. He couldn’t get them to do it.
