Who else feels kiffin just won’t end up here

Truly think ole Miss is going to pay whether money they need to keep him there and I just think he’s overall comfortable there. Some coaches value comfort over chasing championships. Mike leach was like that.
Obviously we will still pursue him but between ole Miss most likely paying whatever to keep him and Ole Miss most likely making the playoffs which will complicate the timing of when we can hire him.
Now I could absolutely be wrong end he ends up here but I flat out think the odds of him ending up here are extremely low

I think the timing is off and I don’t think it’s a fit for LSU or Lane Kiffin. Lane has to coach in the playoffs and LSU is not going to wait for him. It’s just one of those things where the timing isn’t right.

Timing just won’t make sense
Kiffin will have OM in the playoffs. We have to have our coach in place to secure the early HS signing window in the first week of December
I wish it was Lane but unless they blow some games down the stretch I can’t see it being him

I don't see it happening. We would have to overpay him compared to his accomplishments and it just isn't what LSU needs right now.
If we could get him for what ole miss is paying, sure, I think we go for him. But I wouldn't pay him $12+ million a year right now which is likely what it would take.

The timing isn't being discussed enough. We have MAJOR roster slots to fill. Recruits need to know who the coach is going to be before Ole Miss's season ends.

Some of Lane’s key pieces are already in place at LSU, way ahead of the official announcement.
Y’all realize Lane already has his guy as LSU recruiting coordinator and InterimHC and also his GM already in place at LSU, right? Already… as in today.
Wilson and Thomas have worked for Lane and will remain in their same positions under Lane.
Wilson and Thomas know exactly what Lane wants on the recruiting/portal front and are already on it.
