Not for LSU. Not a fit

Just saying dude was shitcanned for one bad season. Made a mistake letting Pribula walk in favor of Allar. Does not strike me as a bum like Brian Kelly

Had two straight 9 win seasons at Vandy. Took a Penn State football program that should have been shut down and regularly won 11 games a year. One game away from the natty last season.

Someone is going to make a great hire if he doesn’t take a hiatus away from football

Yeah, he's just not a championship-caliber guy.

That kind of thing will drive the "blue bloods" crazy.

There are a lot of schools that'd be lucky to have him.

All his players love him. I just worry about the big game thing.

But you're right. Someone will be very happy with Franklin.

Yeah I think he would be a good coach for a lot of programs. I think he just wore out his welcome at Penn St.

Bill O’Brien did a fantastic job in the first year post scandal. It was only one year but he truly bridged the gap, not Franklin.
Franklin also ALWAYS loses the big game, just like Kelly.

Depends on what goals are. If you want to be winning program but a step below the top dogs franklin is your guy. However if you want to win a championship hes not. Last year was as good of a chance as he will have and he blew against ND, a team where PSU was vastly more talented.

Penn State has the infrastructure and resources to compete for championships and it became apparent franklin wasnt going to win one.

Very true but if you are a program that is down he would be a good hire. Might not win the big games but if you can get your program on the map it would likely be worth the hire.

Pedo State made a huge mistake. I think he ends up at VT and is gonna run the ACC.

He’s not a good coach if you want won’t to win anything of meaning. I know a few die hard penn state fans and they have been wanting him gone for years.

No. Bill O’Brien resurrected penn state.
He kept it going sure, but Penn states schedule every year, for the majority of his tenure there, is about equal to ND in terms of toughness. They played 1-2 big games a year and JF shite the bed in pretty much every one of em.

Franklin is a black Brian Kelly. I don't know why you spend $50 million to hire the same guy.

Thank you. Don’t know how people aren’t see this. He’s worse than BK imo.

Arkansas has already reached out to him. If he lands at Arkansas, then we'll have a battle every year. He might not have gotten to a title at Penn State, but he won the B1G and was a play away from being in the NCG last year. He went to Vandy and had that program rolling for several years. He could easily do the same at Arkansas, especially if their booster base started helping more with NIL.

I, for one, do not want to see Franklin at Arky.

He would have Va Tech in the top 3 of the ACC year in and year out.

Mark Richt*

Good coach, will win a lot of games. Is a good person (I think, correct me if Franklin has some huge scandal).

Probably not winning you the championship. Will get you close a couple of times if you keep him long enough.

Not a fit

One of these days LSU fans are going to finally stop saying this stupid and annoying shite. He doesn’t have to be “one of us” to be successful here! Idk why a lot of people here have that mindset. Nick Saban is from West Virginia, Les Miles was a midwestern guy, heck Jay Johnson is from the west coast and look how he fits in. Not too bad I’d say for guys that’s not from here. The fact of the matter is wherever the coach is from, if he builds a consistently winning program and has LSU in the playoff hunt more years than not then he’s a great fit and the LSU fanbase will love him whether he’s from swamps of Louisiana or from Michigan.
