So they’re going with Dan Mullen 2.0. Guess some people never learn, good for them for going with another 7-10 win coach who has occasional sub-.500 seasons, I’m sure he’ll work out much better than when they hired the same exact guy 8 years ago.

I think this is almost guaranteed to happen.

makes too much sense.

Mizzou may be where Sumrall ends up.

I think he will do really well there.

Drink is a good coach. Mizzou is top 10 in total offense and top 15 in total defense. Their only 2 losses were to Bama by 3 and Vandy by 7.

People can say he looks dorky, but I think he embraces that. It doesn't change the fact he's raised the level of play at Mizzou and has been consistent for a few years now.

word on the Tulane streets is Sumrall wants Auburn. This was of course before LSU firing Kelly.

Who are the 11-15 win coaches they should be looking at?

If Drink goes to Florida, I think Mizzou calls James Franklin.

He’s a coach that can consistently build a staff and roster without the benefit of unlimited resources. He knows how to spot, recruit, and develop talent on the field and on his coaching staff.

Are they conceding Kiffin to LSU if LSU wants him?

Actually, he's only gotten two 5 stars at Mizzou and his is recruiting classes have been in the middle of the pack in the SEC. Not terrible but not great

What choice do they have? LSU is a better job and Kiffin would rather be at LSU than UF
