Just ask people who they voted for in 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024.

If they voted for democrats in all four cycles they aren't independents.

I haven’t taken anyone who constantly proclaims they are “independent” seriously for at least 15 years.

Independent simply means you aren't affiliated with any party. You can have far left independents, far right independents, and anywhere in the middle.

By definition, independents are independent, so those who claim to be independent aren't really keeping company with anyone, officially, at least.

I’ve noticed a lot of liberals changing to independents. Mostly when you ask them about whack job liberal policies they say, “I don’t agree with that. I’m independent”. And then go vote for that lunacy.

What do you call someone that comes here and thinks most are unhinged. Then also that same person thinks that Trannies, gays and foreigners have ruined the other side?
I for one hate the two party system. We choose against rather than for.

I don’t know any true independents. The ones that claim they are all liberals or don’t even vote.
