Is microplastics the new religion of the left

or just an offshoot of global warming? The leftist must always create a new disaster that they must “save” us from. If you watch a cooking video and someone dares to use anything plastic in preparation or serving, they are ridiculed, belittled or scoffed at. Once you understand that Radicalism is a religion, you cease trying to convince these people otherwise. Its like trying to convince a Muslim to become a Christian and vice versa.

What if microplastics are, ya know............bad?

I’m not really sure about all the political leanings to this issue.
Are you saying that micro plastics aren’t really a big deal…or aren’t a thing at all?

Ah yes, if you give a crap about the environment or putting toxins in your body, you must be a leftist.

Interesting deal about micro plastics. Natural cellulose is excluded from the discussion yet the molecular structure of cellulose is almost identical to common plastics. Natural okey, manmade not. There is many times more cellulose than plastic in the world.

It’ll be like every other health thing where the left points it out… then it catches on on the right and then the left will be against it again

You are the same people that bought global warming, 70’s ice age, acid rain, ozone hole and Covid. Plastics have been around for decades. How many microplastics related deaths are documented? When did you first hear of this great threat to our survival? From which universities, think tanks or related NGOs did this stunning research emerge?

Not sure, I will have to consult my Project 2025 manual

It’s not the topic of microplastics by itself. It’s the inserting of politics into it.

Plastics are at the same time one of humanity’s best and worst inventions.
I do everything I can to avoid single use plastic. That includes straws.

I don't believe in global warming, but I do support cleaning waterways and removing plastics from the ocean. That is real-world trash you can hold in your hand, not some bullshite from Al Gore.

One is biodegradable, and one is primarily not.
I also wouldn't call the molecular structure of cellulose more than remotely similar to plastics much less "almost identical".

In my house we use lead paint, rip out asbestos with no PPE, and eat tons of microplastics because if the libs are saying they're bad then they must be good. Just like they tried to stop ivermectin

I think microplastics and single use plastics in general are a terrible thing

It wasn’t that long ago when the same Leftists were sky screaming about some huge island in the Pacific Ocean made up of discarded plastics. They would never disintegrate!!!

It's a double edged sword. On one hand, they can cut back on plastics and raise their flatlined T levels and become productive. On the other hand, cut too much plastic, T levels will get out of hand and they'll become Republican.
