And this is when Woodward should announce that Baseball gets the 2nd most $ in revenue sharing behind Football. You give Jay everything he wants and he will continue to dominate the Sport and Bring Championships back to BTR and growing the Baseball Dynasty.

LSU gets to decide from the amount of $ they get which sports get what. We will be allocating the full $20.5 mil like every other P4 team. Jay is frustrated with the amount for good reason. We should be reducing Basketball and increasing baseball's allocation. Honestly, I don't care about our basketball program right now. We have an ELITE Baseball Head Coach and should be giving him everything he wants at this point.

We're just following the House settlement's guidelines which a lot of schools are doing. Men's hoops is always going to get the second most money because they will always bring in the second most amount of revenue (mostly due to the TV deals). But baseball should not be lumped in here with all other Olympic sports and should be getting a higher piece of the pie than they are.

From a lot of Vol-related podcasts, this was an issue between Tony V. & Danny White, the A.D. Supposedly White reduced the amount of money baseball was to get & transferred those monies over to the Lady Vols program.

Basketball can be the 2nd highest in terms of $ given/per player but doesn't mean that you can't reduce the total amount and increase the amount in baseball. Who is realistically excited about our mens basketball team? The arena will be near empty for majority of the season.

I will always remember that last one. I had just disembarked a river cruise ship in Budapest and was listening to the bottom of the 9th on my phone while riding a bus to Prague. It was 8:17 am.
