Should Trump / ICE Change Tactics in Chicago?

It’s clear Pritzker and Chicago will continue to fight Trump in his efforts to clean up a formerly great city. I think it’s time to turn the table on them.
Suspend all ICE operations in Chicago and use ICE to create a perimeter 40 miles around Chicago. You can enter Chicago freely if you want, but to leave Chicago you have to show a U.S. Passport or Passport card or a Real ID compliant ID. For tourists, a passport with a tourist visa. Same standards as getting on any commercial airplane.
Keep the illegal immigrants and criminals isolated from the rest of the country. Let Chicago rot and burn. Thoughts?

Then let ICE do their jobs. If Chicago doesn’t want that, deal with the consequences. The illegal immigrant animals and criminals can be isolated in Chicago. But they have no right to invade the rest of the U.S.

But I feel your pain and understand the frustration where a local gov't actively fights as if they were a foreign gov't bent on destroying this country. Allowing antifa to violate laws with law enforcement lifting a finger to prevent it.
Chicago and Portland are ridiculous.
On the one hand I want Trump to make an announcement that Chicago and Portland are going to be ICE free. And then let the illegals flock there my the 100's of thousands. Then watch the cities crumble.
But then I think about the few actual normal people there (yes they do exist) that have been begging for help as their businesses are on the brink of being destroyed, and no help comes.
