If you want a change in tailgating problems. He is the one that NEEDS the money to pay the Athletic bills. If football attendance becomes a problem, he has a big problem with ALL Athletic teams.

Flood is office with complaints. The least he can do is meet with the Northgate business owners and come to some type of agreement about safety.

Then it ain’t tailgating it’s coaching.

That’s not what he’s referring to. It sounds like tailgating participants were a bit different the last few weeks.

I believe the group he's referring to had someone discharge a weapon yesterday. Luckily it was self inflicted.

Seems like this should be addressed by the LSU President...oh, my bad, we don't have one.

The fact that there have now been TWO shootings back to back during home LSU football games and tailgating and it’s not a massive news story is mind blowing.

Pfft...

They got rid of most of the cops, and now have some blue-shirted security whistle team.

Don't see why people can't smoke cigs if smoking pot is ok.

Seems prejudiced IMO.

The local TV news is saying the shooting yesterday occurred near the Baptist Student Center near Dalrymple Drive and was unrelated to the football game.

Two people end up shot..one found on Darymple and Highland...one found on Chimes and Highland..both during a game night..Only in Channel 9's twisted liberal minds is this not related to LSU...Plus the dude who shot himself in the leg..plus the chargers burning out riot happening in the same area...it ALL has to do with LSU and it's all getting worse every game.

All of the news organization describe the incident yesterday as two groups (gangs??) fighting each other.

I'm not sure what the LSU Athletic Director or acting President can do about that.

Make people buy tailgate permits and if you don’t have one shut them down. The cost increase will weed out the garbage or go to a dry campus which is what they really need to do.

Watch the report, they said it was related to a separate event promoted on campus.

Anyone figure out what the separate event was?

All it is going to take is one unfortunate run-in with something other than a drunk fan and that'll be the end of me going to any LSU sports at all. Im not going to risk my or my family's safety to watch LSU if LSU can't promote a safe atmosphere to do so.
