Prices, labor, supplies are thru the roof. I don't eat out often but dropped my son off at a school event and needed something quick to eat and all that was available was a Burger King. I got a meal that included a grilled chicken sandwich, fry and drink.
Placed order and was told the total was 14.50. Imagine had i taken my family? Is this just the way it's going to be going forward? Just 3 years ago it wouldn't have been half that. Next year will it be 16 ? then the year after that 20.00? Back to the kitchen for me but if you own any type of fast-food establishment you have to be nervous going forward. Foresee a lot of closures if this keeps up.

As long as every drive thru you see is stacked up at lunch time and dinner time

The raising canes and chick fil a lines that go into streets and jack traffic up

The Starbucks line needed police to direct traffic around it

People won’t stop paying the high prices

I can consistently ring up $45 for a family of 4 at Chick-fil-a, and that’s with strategic ordering, not just ordering 4 meals. 4 meals would be closer to $55

Only order fast food off the value menu.

just like the prices of everything, it increases over time. as long as fast food inflation isn’t outpacing overall inflation, they will be just fine.

also i don’t know what you’re ordering but you can definitely get a full meal for less than $10 if you order off the value menu at a place like McDonalds.

A $15 lunch is pretty much the norm these days, You can do cheaper at a fast food place, but not if you just take one of their suggested combos.

Can't think of a situation I'd ever eat burger king or really any fast food outside of Chick Fil A and Canes.

When my kids want canes or chick fil a, it pisses me off what 3 meals cost

As long as it's quick and convenient.

It's been more expensive for at least 10 years.

I don’t know if it’s common elsewhere, but the CFA near me always has at least four employees outside taking orders from people in the drive thru lines. They will run a dozen cars through in no time.

That place is a machine.

Neighbor owns like 20 McDonald’s. He’s certainly not hurting just picked up a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Sonic’s chili cheese footlong coney holds a special place in my heart. That’s the only thing I ever order.

These fast food establishments, especially McDonalds and Burger King, have so much money that they’ll be perfectly fine. They ain’t going anywhere either so no need to worry fatties.
