Well at least he is capable of learning something new.
It a shame that he is too confused and mislead to simply say something as basic as, Jesus is the answer to our problems.
But that would offend democrats who have been funneling money to the church.
So we will continue to be lead by cowards.

You don’t have to be Catholic you know?

Without this site, I wouldn’t know anything that he does.

Wrong.
See I am proof that we do not worship the pope.
He is our general and if he can not lead then I expect us to get someone who will

The Pope is taking the high road. Good on him. He doesn't want to alienate a large part of Catholics over politics. The Church needs parishioners to donate, alienating a large part of them would be a bad play.

Jesus said he came to divide
The Pope steps on it last week, and now wants to play the “neutral” position

As a Catholic, I don’t feel good trashing the Pope. But he has shown his colors the past week. I will keep praying for him to change his heart or possibly resign early like Benedict so someone more courageous and true to the Church can step in. The RCC really needs better leadership.

There’s a difference between playing the neutral position and not involving yourself at all.

The church is there to guide and save souls.

People have souls.

Governments do not have souls.

Preaching to governments is a waste of effort.

A Private thinking he knows more than the general.....you'll continue to be a low level noncom.

There's a reason he's Pope and you are sitting in your rented double wide playing on the computer.

He literally just commented on global warming by praying over a chunk of ice and then he negged Trump and Vance late last week by commenting on how divisive they are.

Then he praised a radical left senator from his home state who supported late term abortion (against Catholic doctrine).

So now hes a hypocrite and a leftist cuck AND a blatant liar. Not sure why so many on the right seem eager to defend this guy as he is clearly of the left and not much better than Franny the Marxist

It didn't take long for Pope Robert to stir up trouble.

If I'm not mistaken, the Pope is also a head of state for the Vatican. Not sure why he wouldn't comment on American politics unless he's simply trying to be diplomatic. However, as head of the RCC, I would assume he should feel free to comment (diplomatically) on policies that touch on Christian morality.

I can see where this could be seen as a positive statement by some Catholics who have seen the previous Pope seemingly put his foot in his mouth a lot, but I find it interesting that the Pope would prefer not to comment on politics in America. Is there a particular context in which he said this?
