It's that time of year again.

I was talking to a LSP commander this morning. Now through Thanksgiving they are conducting their annual fund raising tour on LA motorists. Focusing on expired inspection stickers as a pretext .
He told me that half the money paid for an inspection sticker goes directly to the LSP.
Main areas will be on interstate on ramps.....and traffic circles

He said LA is the last state in the South to have inspection stickers. MS got rid of them a year or two ago.
He said there was some legislator that each year brings up doing away with it and they fight him tooth and nail.

They had a BR cop standing in the middle of Nicholson by Hungry Howies during morning traffic yesterday. Just stood there looking at inspection stickers.

You would think... But watching these arrest videos on youtube and you will be surprised. In fact, it goes beyond inspection stickers, its people who flat out don't have their license.. I always wonder how many people on the road actually don't have a license. I'd rather them do a license check than an inspection sticker check, but I understand inspection stickers brings in the $$
