it’s becoming clear that streaming is now becoming more expensive than actual cable.

Wha are the best alternatives?

How about not subscribing to anything and forcing yourself to actually enjoy real life. Go outside, start a project, volunteer, talk to people in person.

Stop living through a screen.

Digital antenna for football and then Plex with Sonarr+Radarr on a NAS for shows/movies. That’s my setup.

I have no idea why this keeps getting parroted in every one of these threads.

Have yall priced cable anytime recently?

And I only have it for football and lsu baseball. I wish there were an option to just purchase the games individually. I think I’m paying for the package deal-Hulu live, espn+, Hulu, and Disney but the ad free version of Hulu and Disney. I think it’s maybe $95 per month. I guess I need to double check that

I watch YouTube and an occasional movie on tubi, free.

I’ve been watching college games on YouTube as well.

I started watching YouTube tv when it started up and dropped dish but the kept raising their rates so I dumped them. Nothing on tv is worth paying for as far as I’m concerned.
