Why is ‘limited range’ for EV’s presented as ‘range anxiety’?

Nice turn to reframe limitations of the vehicle as a mental problem
for the consumer.
Media shitheads never stop trying to propagandize.

Do you think proponents of EVs are the ones that came up with the term "range anxiety" lol

They call it “anxiety” because they think no one needs to be able to travel that far in one go.
Which is probably due to many of them not driving because you don’t need to drive in some major cities like NYC. Doesn’t work like that in Peoria.

I was in Norway recently. Many, many automobiles on the highways and in the cities are EVs. Norway is not a small country. I can see that for normal driving activity, EVs can work. It is a mindset. And yes, I have an EV. Elon Musk is probably a fan of Norway and their Teslas.

Miles of highway (“public roads”) in Norway: a little more than 50,000 miles
In the US: about 4.2 million miles

Because we’ve become a nation of idiots and pussies.

Maybe
But that has nothing to do with the phrase "range anxiety"

Because pharma can get you a script for that?

They very likely did.

It's an attitude thing. EVs could work here for normal driving. I have to stop every 320 miles to fill up my Acura. Somebody will have to stop every 275 miles to electrify their EV. A good friend says he simply could not stand spending 30 minutes to charge an EV. Anyway, if we charge at Bucee's it would be fun. I have a Ford Lightning. I use it for around town driving. But I could drive from here to 300 miles from here with minor inconvenience. The only thing I have anxiety about now is when that 30,000 dollar battery pack no longer charges up. I've not read much on how long those things last. Anybody know?

This can apply to any vehicle because none have unlimited range.

It's less than half the size of Texas and terms of driving requirements for an average person there it is microscopic compared to the US.

There are 10 gas stations within several mile radius of where I work. The on-base gas station is the adjoining parking lot. There are zero public EV charging stations within 20 minutes. I have no range anxiety and my truck gets 14 mpg on average.

They aren't pushing these "15 minute cities" for our benefit.
