Which is why I was not a fan of CK

This shows the point that I was trying to make in another thread. There are many factions of the conservative party that often but heads, where as liberals always toe the party line, even if it goes against their beliefs. Gays and feminist supporting Muslims because the party tells them too, even though Muslims would stone them to death.

We need 4 parties in this country to represent the chart of fiscal and social beliefs. I'm very conservative financially, but less conservative socially. That person is very conservative socially, but might not be fiscally.

One of the bigger mistakes I feel like I made was not knowing more about this guy.

Same. I have known about him for a long time but I generally stay away from media like that; too much of what is out there is just “gotcha” stuff and IMO makes conservatives look bad. But I have been and will be watching a lot of his videos. And also reading my Bible and hopefully finding a church home

Ideal probably but no matter what, it will always come down to 2. People can only think in two dimensions unfortunately.
