DJ Lagway to LSU next season?

Some talking heads are speculating if Sunbelt Billy is fired from FL, that Lagway would portal to the highest bidder. Said LSU might be interested. Thoughts?

Lagway stock took a big hit last night. I’m sure they’ll be better options in the portal when the time comes anyways.

Nuss had 12 INTs last season in 13 games and people wanted to crucify him. Lagway has 6 INTs in 3 games.

Let’s see he how bounces back the rest of the season
He has talent and I would t judge him solely on last nights game
But it doesn’t matter who our QB is next year if Sloan is the OC and Davis is the O line coach

DJ is now at 17/15 for his career. There will be better options in the portal next year. People still are buying into the HS hype and are infatuated with the fact that he throws a "pretty" ball.

Who? He's a true sophomore really freshman because he was hurt half of last year, in his first road start ever, against probably a top ten defense in the country. Garret threw two pick 6s against Southern. He threw 50 times and without penalties he would have put up 400 yards on us. He had some horrible decisions but the one by Garrett was as bad as anything he did.

I think Lagway is very fixable.
Also think Billy would make a really good OC on a prove-it year. Or two.
