The increase for our renewal has increased approximately 30%. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

State Farm. Had Farmers. Got a better rate by switching.

Cut them some slack. They had a rough hurricane season. Had to let some people go in the claims reporting sector.

Mine went from $2700 to $3500

Went back and had peril deductible increased to 1% and had contents lowered to get back to $2700

But we started at $1900 then $2300 the next year and then $2700 the following year……

Same. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, but no complaints so far. (No claims this early into it so nothing to complain about yet).

Had ASI. They wanted a massive increase at renewal last year. Swapped to USAA. They were far cheaper than ASI was originally.

Except you can’t get an umbrella through them but there are other options.

Shelter Insurance. I just switched 3-ish weeks ago. Former carrier was Hanover Insurance. Hanover renewal would have been $4,197. Shelter gave me the same coverage for $3,203. That's close enough for me to say Shelter is $1,000 cheaper.

I also switched my car insurance from Progressive to Shelter at the same time. Between cheaper rates, and paying for the first 6 months up front, I'm saving $1,750. When I pay the second 6 months in January, I'll save another $250, for a total of $2,000 cheaper than Progressive.

Not in EBRP, but just changed to USAA from Shelter. Saved over 200.00 month, both car and dwelling. Ex Air Force, should have changed years ago.

Goosehead - Zach Davis. Mine doubled with State Farm and he got me back down to what I was paying before the doubling with same coverage and a lower deductible. He had access to a lot of options. I went with SageSure.
