First time visiting Tiger Stadium this weekend and curious how many rows in the front one sidelines are obstructed. The front row seats are all less expensive so I am making an assumption.

Also would love any input on visitor side. Should we expect a lot of Gator fans on the visitor sideline sections?

Thanks for any input.

It’s hard to watch the game from the front row seats and from the sideline. It’s cool for a while and seeing things up close but it’s difficult to see things play out. You’ll find yourself watching the scoreboard more

Thought the same thing looking from my seats in the south end zone. Absolutely criminal that LSU would still sell those seats.

If you enjoy watching the game then I highly recommend not buying front row. 12 rows up at the minimum.

Anything below row 5 is tough; I tried to get above row 10 and preferred 30 or higher.

You’ll be looking at the backs of the players on the sideline.

I personally wouldn’t sit any lower than row 20.

Thanks, any thoughts on Visitor side? Will I be surrounded by Gator fans, or just kind of interspersed?

There is no visitor side. The visitor tickets are in the endzone. They also have another small section at the top of the upper deck.

On the East side, those seats should be reserved for people who are just there to make noise and yell when opponent has the ball. Hell even the bench players would be nervous.

Yeah my dad had some third row seats on about the 40 yard line decades ago. They were trash, couldn't see over the players and gear and when they were on the close side of the hash, couldn't see shite at all.

Moved to the North endzone in the corner, six rows up, iso view and we have never moved again.

I couldn’t see over the heads of players and personnel but I did get to hear a lot of what they were talking about.

Not only are the players standing on the sidelines, they are also standing on the benches so they can see over the head of those in front on them. I did it at my first LSU game in 1985, thinking I found great seats. Never again. Pay more and see more.

You need to go 15-20 rows up.

You cannot see anything happening on the field. The players form a near wall obstruction hindering the view. I remember only seeing the top of helmets. It's cool that you are so close to the team sidelines, but you will spend the game watching it on the jumbotron.

It is a great "one and done" experience. If it is your first time its fun.

Ive sat maybe 10 rows up and it sucked. Row 1 basically sits on the ground...so it takes a few rows just to be above the players standing on the sideline... then a few more rows to get a view of anything other than when they are directly infront of you.

I basically watched the jumbotron 90% of the game

You need to be 20 rows up, I was in row 4 last weekend and it sucked. The end zone sky club was way more fun

The two rows on the field? I sat in some last season and like them. It’s hard to see the opposite side of the field buys it’s cool as hell when they are in the redzone.
