The main reason for most lawsuits is to try to kill somebody or an organization. Maybe not literally, but certainly a way to punish someone because they didn’t get their way or what they think they deserved.

If someone signs up to join a military branch but fails in basic training, and is discharged, does that make them a veteran with veteran benefits? Or if someone goes for a job interview, given a few days to demonstrate they can do the work but is not hired, can they claim to have been employed by that company?
Can this rule be retroactive if a player has already signed with a school? If so, then the player and school could potentially claim harm against the SEC.
