And then they said Thanks but we've got JJ McCarthy waiting in the wings.

This dude was an uninspiring game manager at Michigan.

Should have resigned him. JJ is not ready and honestly I don't think he is very good.

Not a great debut, but I think the play calling has been pretty arse.

But he looked great in 1 and half preseason games last season.

They should have picked up Aaron Rodgers.

They won 14 games last year. Couldn't imagine going from that amount of success to watching this turd they run out on the field.

I’ll never understand how a team can let a pro-bowl QB walk in today’s NFL.

I just don't get it unless they thought SD was a one-year wonder and couldn't trust him? I would have traded JJ and gotten whatever I could for him or let him take a year or two to learn the game while Sam led you to the playoffs again.

Everyone crapped on Darnold for how the last two games went, but it seemed hasty to me to bail on him after a full season's body of work that he was solid.

But Jim Harbaugh said he was.

But JJ McCarthy was never a special QB and somehow went in the first round.

No way Jeffferson gave his stamp of approval on moving JJ to starting QB.

As someone who finds the Michigan and Vikings fanbases to be some of the most insufferable shitbags in the nation, this is a wonderful hatewatch

I’ve got fricking J Jefferson and he has 2 points on my FFL team. Lord JJ sucks!

Guy in my league started JJ Mc and kept Fields on the bench. I’m enjoying this. I also had Josh Allen so it’s been a fun week 1.

This honestly might have been one of the worst moves I’ve ever seen. McCarthy is fricking abysmal. What did they see in practice to pull the trigger on this?
