My first time in Vegas was in the early 90’s. It was just a one night stopover on a long trip with a friends family.
My buddy and I were 15 and we walked down the strip a little and saw this guy running from the cops and he jumped into the fountains. He wouldn’t come out so the cops had to go wading in after him and it took them a long arse time to get him. The crowd of course was cheering his drunk arse on the whole time.

Fremont is a little crazy. Saw a 10 or so year old girl, at 1am on a Friday, rapping on the street (busker), didn’t listen for long but heard her say “motherfrickers want to step to me…”
I felt a little saddened by the depravity of it all, so I drowned my sorrows with liquor and a small spliff.
