Must've been with all the hype around the program this year.

Seating capacity - 31,000
Attendance - 22,148
71.4% of a sellout

Rice brought about 150 fans

Tickets sold does not equal attendance

You can try to explain that to people, but they won't listen.

And no, actual scanned tickets doesn't matter all that much to administrators. they give two damns about whether or not anyone attends-- as long as the ticket sells. You aren't moving the needle with an extra hundred hot dog sales, assuming that its unlike every major program in America where concession compensation is already a set contracted amount, regardless of sales.

If I were a betting man, I'd say at least 150 fans brought Rice.

LSU fan woke up the morning after a top 5 road win to start a thread hating on “little brother.” Absolute beta energy.

What do you expect from the school that made the east side of the stadium the new home side, facing into the sun.

They didn’t accept tickets from stubhub via the phone app. Made folks buy full price. 30.00 each for a shitshow

I was at that game and there was nowhere near 22k people. It was a good bit less than half full. I’d bet there were 12-13k people.

The sun was facing the Rice sideline last night (not in their faces, just facing that side of the stadium), while ULL was comfortably in the shade. The stadium isn’t oriented with pure directions, but the home sideline was definitely the west sideline.

The logo faces the east side and the press box and tv camera is on the east side.

That’s fine. I’m just telling you which side they were on last night. And it wasn’t the east side in the sun.

It’s been 30 freaking years. Let it go. You sound like a freaking moron with this take.

Pretty sure every school in America has had at least one name change. You guys are boardline mental issues with acceptance of their 1995 name change.
