The whole thing was weird, from how Clemson was acting so proud about it to how much the announcers were cumming themselves over it

In the 1940s when running down the hill started the locker room used to be a field house on that side of the stadium. In the early 1970s they built new locker rooms and the tradition was abandoned. There was a 3-4 year losing streak and the coach decided they needed something to bring back the good luck and pump up the team and fan base for the season finale against South Carolina. So they cranked up the buses, ran down the hill into the stadium and ended up winning on a last second FG. And that’s how it all started (back).

I quite enjoyed 15 minutes of Fowler waxing on about getting on the bus (the players think the ride lasts forever, but it's only a minute and a half, don't you know?) and then running down the hill.
