Hope he does well and doesn't need to be benched. frick anyone who is wanting them to bench him after 4 or 5 games without actually giving him a shot just because.

If was a pretty even battle but I do think Shough looked more confident and he does go through his reads. Spencer seems locked in on the number one option

Perhaps.....the staff doesn't want to get him killed with this offensive line. He can play some this year and after 'hopefully' a good draft and free agent signings he will be in a better situation.
Not every rookie qb needs to start day 1 with a shite roster around them.
