I think he’s become click bait since deal with On3 and ESPN. I used to love listening to him. He has become buddies with coaches and staffs and leans his picks toward those guys (Florida and Billy)(Bama and his Wife’s crew there). Still has honest takes, but you can see the bias and need for clicks.

Yeah, I used to listen to him religiously during the season, but his shtick is just tiresome.

With this roster, 8-4 would be a cataclysmic failure. FTR, I don't think LSU goes 8-4 barring a barrage of key injuries.

He’s going to take a bath on UF this year, but it won’t be the first time. He loves to hang on fringe takes and then ride them if he’s right. But when he’s wrong, no one calls him on it and he just calls anyone who tries a casual.
He was all-in on Sam Pittman and his “culture fit” at Arkansas during his first two seasons there. We see how that turned out once that staff moved on. All that talk disappeared as soon as his talking point evaporated on him. So this is just par for the course.
He still has a lot of good info, guests and content on his show, but his takes and his stupid power ranking that he pumps non-stop get old. That’s why it’s better to listen to the podcast than watch on YouTube. Those segments are an easy skip.

Tbh I don’t listen to Josh pate till the regular season. His preseason takes tend to be outlandish
