If I had to bet the only way the opening game starter is not being benched for the other at some point is if that starter gets replaced because of injury.

I still don’t think Penix will be really good. He’s got some arm talent, but his mechanics are so jerky I think he will struggle with accuracy.

The local media has been OPENLY pushing for Rattler. Jim Derry’s been bashing them about it all offseason. It’s because he has this weird cult following, and they are loud

If rattler starts. it might feel disappointing to you because rattler is only a second year guy with limited talent. But If shough doesn't start, it's more likely because he's just not quite ready. He just needs a little more time.
