I'm old enough to remember when Popeye's was one of the best run establishments in the fast food industry.
Then Al Copeland made the mistake of buying Churches, the shite hole of chicken joints and with in two years the whole shithouse came crashing down. he lost Popeyes in 92 bankruptcy and just like that awesome chicken and service was gone like a fart in the wind.

Never complain about your Popeyes order. What I mean is, the employees don't give a shite so you are starting off the argument in the negative. You have to be cool about it and in my one experience, they gave me an extra leg with my order.. But if you go in there whooping and hollering there is a good chance there will be a fight.

I’ve been TRYING to find better chicken…
Just goes with the territory! Best rated Popeyes I’ve had was in Texas…Oddly enough. Same recipe but the staff was completely D ifferent than I was accustom to. Clean grease-free restaurant…I really didn’t know if it was real for a minute.
Hot seemed a little hotter too.
Tomball as I recall.
