I know that’s the English flag, but the UK is the only country I’m aware of where they’ve managed to convince a sizable enough of their population that their very own Union Jack flag is indeed a symbol of racism, to the point where people are afraid to even fly it.

I guess there are some people who fit your description, but The Union Jack is proudly displayed a lot in Britain. I bought a house there and it had a Union Jack couch. I’ve seen cars there that are painted with the Union Jack, and I’ve seen plenty of flags, though not as many American flags as you’d see here.

I bet you’d be surprised if a survey were done in the US. I’m positive a sizable portion of our population believes our flag is racist too.
