The water flow has been reduced by 80% due to dams, irrigation and "warming".
Towns disappeared and their shrimp and oyster fisheries seem to have been lost.

Buying all that Russian oil is working out great if you believe in leftist BS. Don’t care about India.

The Indus River is heavily polluted, particularly with plastic waste, making it one of the most plastic-polluted rivers in the world.
This pollution poses significant threats to the river's ecosystem, surrounding communities, and potentially to the Arabian Sea.
Key aspects of trash in the Indus River:
Plastic Pollution: The Indus River is a major source of plastic pollution flowing into the ocean, with estimates suggesting it carries a large amount of plastic debris.
Sources of Pollution: Plastic waste originates from various sources, including municipal and industrial wastewater discharges, and poorly managed solid waste.
Composition of Plastic Waste: A significant portion of the plastic pollution is low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which is commonly used for single-use plastics like bottles and bags.

Reason #1,469 I’ll never set foot anywhere in the shithole otherwise known as the Indian Subcontinent.

If you trade in your oversize SUV for an electric clown car, the river will magically get clean again.

How much international aid have they received?

If it's loose, I hope someone can catch it or tighten it!

Neighbouring India, meanwhile, poses a looming threat to the river and its delta, after revoking a 1960 water treaty with Pakistan, which divides control over the Indus basin rivers. It has threatened never to reinstate the treaty and to build dams upstream, squeezing the flow of water to Pakistan, which has called it “an act of war”.
Global warming!

Global warming and COVID: the two all-purpose scapegoats for every problem in the last 5 years.
Power outage? Global Warming.
Increased Inner City Crime? COVID.
Stubbed your toe? Both.

I have a good friend who is Indian-American and the first in his family born in the US. He has been to India once as an adult and repeatedly says he will never go back. It is a shithole.

One of those jugs full of diesel and a lighter would get rid of a bunch of that plastic
