Assuming they have video evidence of that, because how else would they possibly know that? Even if you saw little ruts on the street from the rim, that's a hell of a dot to connect.

Yea not sure how they know but imagine losing your whole house because someone got a flat and didn't pull over and call roadside assistance.

I can remember the days when people all had spare tires and knew how to change them. Good times.

last summer when we had a hell of a drought going on, a police chase down I-10 had a guy running from the cops on a rim. There was a fire that was 3-4 miles long going on in the median of I-10. Good thing it was only the median. Yes, somebody caught it on their phone. Dude was going 80mph dragging a rim

And some people want to complain about the AR cops being too quick with the pit maneuver.

Probably the same people that would complain about being hung with a new rope

I guess now that they've already looted their power company, they can dispense with the "muh spaking power lines" BS and actually admit what happened.

They are eliminating the weight thereby gaming the ridiculous mileage requirements. Same thing with the feature that kills your engine when you stop.

It started as four fires in line closely spaced, practically on a road. That situation is almost always vehicle related: riding on a flat, dragging chains, brakes.

in Santa Barbara

Saying this fire is "in Santa Barbara" is just flat out wrong. The actual fire start was over fifty miles from the city proper, and the head of the fire is still around forty miles from the outskirts of Santa Barbara. It is burning in a national forest with steep terrain.

Well, if distance is not an issue when naming a disaster, I name this fire the "Baton Rouge Fire."

The Silverado has a spare tire but you have to be part acrobat, part engineer to access it.
