It was just announced he had like a 9m war chest. I wouldn't ever vote for him again but he's got cash from some rich donors.

Miguez isn’t an improvement over Cassidy. He’s an opponent of tort reform. He would be the trial lawyer senator.

$800,000 in two weeks plus $1M of his own money make Miguez the real deal!
Don’t know where the “opponent of tort reform” comes from. He carried the loser pays bill (did not pass) and was 100% on board with the whole package.
His stand AGAINST trial lawyers is why he and Landry are now at odds!
Plus, he is the ONLY one that can beat Cassidy!

Many biz owners in oil patch and sugar in Acadiana. I saw a client of mine who I thought would be solid behind Cassidy. He's already maxxed out on Miguez.
