Tough break for Clark, injured at very end of game making a pass. Looked like a strained groin muscle.

Side note: Clark is now 2-for-35 on the year shooting threes in road games.

Guess she won’t participate in the 3-pt. shooting contest on Friday.

I was really looking forward to her and Ionescu battling it out.

She probably won’t play in the all-star game on Saturday either.

She shouldn’t have been in it to begin with after missing so many games and being so bad on the road this year.

I can’t imagine being this obsessed with shitty basketball. You should do more deep state studying.

With her injuries this season, I was surprised they brought her back before the All Star break.

I thought she was going to be the MJ of women’s basketball but she’s been so mid. Every time I check her stat line she’s 1-8 from 3.

How much of it is pressure from the league to rush her back to keep the attention on the game, and how much is it from her trying to work through the injury?

Was never much of a basketball player, but I would imagine any leg injury would have an impact on a jump shooter's accuracy

Woof. Angel has made 3 of them on the road. GOAT shooter.

I have no idea and haven’t looked it up but I can tell by the lack of tacky threads lately that Reese must be playing well

9 consecutive double doubles, but she has a leg injury and might miss the All-Star Game.

Angel has played very well. Got off to a slow shooting start, but she's shooting 56% in July, which is why all the haters have been quiet. Still leading the league in rebounds.

Clark has been awful this season, but has also been injured the entire time. Will be interesting to see if she will develop into a good player at a professional level or is basically the WNBA's version of Trae Young. Feels like the WNBA needs her to be better than this or the ratings are going to crater.

Why? I don’t want to watch a basketball players who’s 25% from three in a 3 PT contest

I agree about how well Angel Reese has been playing. IMO, she is not one of my favorite players to watch play basketball. Having said that, she has improved dramatically from the beginning of the season until now and is legitimately one of the better players in the league and should get some first-team all WNBA votes if she continues playing this well. I think Clark is suffering from too many injuries and it seems pretty clear that the leg injuries she has suffered have affected her accuracy. Who knows if she will be able to make the necessary corrections or not but right now she is not shooting nearly well enough to continue shooting as much as she has been.
