Whats going on with cereal boxes these days? A normal size box now says family size and i just saw some enormus boxes that say mega size. What kid needs that much cereal.and where is the stopping point for how huge these things will go!

I just want them to use a ziplock bag for the cereal. How hard can that be?

I just buy the single cups. I know it’s more expensive(I buy at Costco though), but it’s portion control for me for a treat.

Somewhere around the time that bigger boxes quit being cheaper per corn flake than smaller boxes?

All I need is a couple of cups of raisin bran and my gut gets unclogged. About all I need cereal for now.

And for what reason can't you portion control out of a larger box of cereal?

Pour out a cup or whatever amount you eat and put the box away and eat just that. You're paying more for individual packaging and creating more landfill waste with all the little containers going in the trash.

Big cereal is competing with big toilet paper to see who can have the stupidest math equations on their products

Feeding your kid ready-to-eat cereal is about as trashy as neck tats
