I stopped feeling sorry for Arkansas fans because they keep the cycle going.
1. Lose in the most disappointing way possible.
2. Say they’ll never commit to it again.
3. 2 days later they are writing big checks for the next crop of transfers.
Rinse, repeat every year.
They believe it’s a run of the worst luck. They don’t perform in big moments because DVH doesn’t have them ready for big moments.
4 plays in a half inning to keep their season going, 4 different players (1 the golden spikes winner) and they don’t make any of them.
Their desire to get DVH a title when he is literally incapable of doing it only prolongs their pain and suffering. It’s their own fault.

DVH is content to make Omaha and just hopes for the best once there. The moment routinely becomes too big for them and they just pucker. I'm not convinced that's something that can be fixed, especially when it's the coach that's the biggest culprit.
