She’s a liberal. I just assume she hates America.

Between this and the "Curiel wasn't allowed to use his Kanye West Christian walkout music" despite Louisville and Ole Miss players coming out to Christian songs they are searching hard today.

They don't like them saying anything great about the USA especially when Trump is in. Even left wingers fired from ESPN have said that.

Pam Ward is the villain. She coerced that apology out of Lobo with her silence as shes a humourless far left feminist.

That happened in real time and post that OP linked is clickbait. ESPN corporate culture may have had a passive influence but it wasn't the cause of that exchange. Lobo crumbled and caved on her own.

Yeah thats exactly what it seemed like to me, not a producer. Old bitch left her coworker hanging out to dry.

What's even more offensive is that she walked it back to placate the worst announcer in the history of ESPN and sports in general. It was always a mark of shame in college football if your team ended up with a Pam Ward game.

It's a WNBA game. They know their audience.

Is it because they think “That’s what makes America great” is similar to “Make America Great Again”?

Rebecca Lobo mildly complained about an official’s call near the end of the game. This is the Lobo/Ward exchange that followed:

quote:

“They disagree with you,” play-by-play announcer Pam Ward said to her partner Lobo.

“They do, and I disagree with them,” Lobo responded. “And that’s fine. That’s what makes America great, right Pam Ward?”

After asking that question, there was a long silence between the two before Lobo said, “I should rephrase that,” to which Ward responded, “Yes.”

Ward, then, suggested Lobo say “difference of opinion,” which she agreed. She even said “sorry about that” before continuing to call the game.

When you are in fear for your job, and a woke colleague coerces you into an apology for saying, “That’s what makes America great,” in a reference to our right to voice different opinions when we don’t agree with someone, there’s a problem.

Can we get a picture of the ESPN producers. Nevermind, just see the game refs. That is all.

Imagine if an announcer in China said something great about their country and then took it back. He might be exiled. Pam Ward is the same type that somehow talks more highly of a country like that though.

Not that I care too much about the Curiel story but what does Ole Miss have to do with it?
