Got caught up in some traveler get together in London a few weeks ago.

I worked with some whiny liberal several years ago. One day I used the phrase "what a gyp" in response to some screwjob. He pulled me aside and said "listen, you probably didn't know this but that phrase is actually a derogatory reference to the Romani gypsy people."
I responded, "No, I already knew that and don't have a problem with it." Then I kind of shot him a look that said now you know where I stand.
