Espn catching that feat was second only to when Chris became a UCLA fan that one year.

I saw that

Milam's dad is a better man than me. I would have told that obnoxious attention seeker to "sit the f___ down" if he was blocking my view of my son during a critical AB

I noticed that as well. I also hate that ESPN puts cameras in the players and parent's faces all game long.

Guillot acts like he owns LSU baseball. Now I appreciate his enthusiasm he is a bit self-consumed at times.

I thought Shores was going to say something when the camera slow rolled up to him in the 8th in dugout.

ESPN produces college baseball very well throughout the year…even through the regionals and Super Regionals.

Then, for the CWS, they produce it like the LLWS. I’d love to know the internals if that.

Showing a parent reaction to a very big play makes some sense. It’s fun to see the reactions. But they do it waaaay too much.

The game stands on its own. The drama is there without needing to see a kids mom worried to death, praying because it’s a big spot in the game.

Last night, after the mistake on the double play, and then certainly after the left fielder debacle, they should have been reflecting on Arkansas history of meltdowns. They had already laid the groundwork for it with the early game comments about DVH never winning etc.

A well placed flashback of the foul ball miss vs. Oregon State would have been perfect to lead up to the choke job.

Instead they treated it with kid gloves.
