This simply isn’t true. Outside of the SEC, there are tons of “neutral” fans that love LSU. The only sport that probably doesn’t apply to is women’s basketball.

Did they oversell the Arky and UCLA shortstops? I think you can make a case they did, but overall I think the commentators wanted to see Van Horn get a World Series title.

The bias was clearly evident. And when Van Horn gave him an opportunity to praise LSU in the post game, Peterson deflected and changed the topic. He obviously has LSUDS.
