Is Coastal Carolina a product of their strength of schedule?

I know they haven’t lost since April and that is crazy, but their road hasn’t been that tough to this point. They definitely had the softer side of the World Series brackets.

No, they are very good. They are right there with LSU and Arky.

They are a very good team, come on. Have some really good starting pitchers. So do we. Both will be at full steam come Saturday. May the best team win.

Their strength of schedule during the regular season was not very impressive, but the have performed well in the postseason.

I can only speak from what I’ve seen, which is them at Omaha. They are legit.

You don’t win 50 games in any conference, or 25 in a row, by not being really good. I mean they swept through a regional, Auburn, and the CWS so far. But LSU’s pitching will be rested and loaded. Take game 1 and CC starts questioning life after their first loss in a long time.

They are definitely a plucky bunch, but seriously, you don't win 26 straight and sweep your way through the Regional, Supers, and CWS without being good on too of it.

They've developed some swagger and attitude that gives them a confidence edge. In baseball, that can make a difference.

They swept their regional, swept the super regional (against a team that swept LSU), and won their first three games in Omaha. They have to be pretty good…

That said, I like our chances with our aces.

They went 2-0 against Auburn away — we were swept 3-0 in the same matchup. They are very good. Were slight favorites.

They are legit. They are talented & confident & have good pitching. I like the matchup though. LSU just puts so much pressure on you in all phases

The spell will be broken when they lose one.
