When Brown is in RF , could be fastest overall . Omaha has a huge outfield so speed & defense will be a key factor.

I'm more concerned about the sun in LF since whoever built the new park is an absolute moron.

DC will be leaning on his mentor, JP

Yea I rewatched the 2nd WF Game this week from 2023. JP had some fits with the sun early in that game until the sun started to go down. Hopefully that's not an issue for DC

JP was talking about it while standing in LF in one of the videos that LSU put out yesterday too

so was 2015. Fraley, Laird, and Stevenson

2009 did have Mitchell, Mahtook, and Landry, but Landry fell out of the starting lineup and by the end of the year, Schimpf was playing left field with Mahtook in center and Mitchell in right

I think that indicates a type of quickness most men are not proud of.

That's great and all but we have more than one OFr that take terrible angles on balls.

Here we go with this crap again. Every OF in history will misread a fly ball from time to time. Every OF has taken a bad angle at some point in their life. Even gold glovers and Hall of Famers have taken a bad angle. Just because they have taken a bad angle before, doesn’t mean they “take bad angles”. For the vast majority of the season, this OF has been legitimately above average defensively, despite the probably one or two games you watched this season.

Why would you ever build a ball park that was facing south from home plate?

I'm not a fan of it, but even in MLB there's several parks that face south.

A poster above wrote that that wasn’t the outfield by the end of the season. But that was a fast group.
