re: Creatine Question

Posted by popig on 7/29/26 at 3:35 pm to
Yes it was scary . I had throat cancer and thought it was a sinus infection. When I did go to the Dr , they sent me to an ENT who caught it . He said if we didn't do anything I might have a year or so. Stage 4 because it had spread to my lymph nodes in my throat. They got me to MD Anderson within a month (sounds like a long time , but fast to get in there ) where I underwent proton radiation therapy and chemo. Feel very blessed to have been in remission since 2020. Can't say enough good things about the wonderful folks at MD Anderson and all who prayed for me.

I take mine an hour or more before my workout. On non workout days I take after breakfast . You can split the dose and take half after your workout with protein shake . I have seen some research indicating some benefits with that. Main thing - take every day , be consistent and you should see the results in how you feel and perform. Watch some YouTubes - I enjoy Thomas Delauer- for some good info.

I'm 67 and lift 4 days a week. Started the creatine a little over 2 years ago and started seeing huge benefits pretty quick . I lift fairly heavy and never get sore , more strength and endurance , and do notice the cognitive gains. I take about 15 grams daily. I had stage 4 cancer back in 2019 and have been in remission since 2020, go for annual checks @ MD Anderson . Blood work is always good and kidneys normal levels. Did a lot of research before starting and believe it to be very safe. Would highly recommend to all , do the research and decide for yourself. Good luck and God bless !

I don't know if serious , but he is from Carencro :geauxtigers:
IMO, parents would show a lack of class to tolerate that behavior for a child under the age of 18. Trashy behavior is probably hereditary.
For NFL level , sure height is a factor. Not so much at NCAA level , especially for more mobile QBs. Some continue to grow into their 20s also.

DE version of the Honey Badger :pimp:
You guys need to google Mike Miley , starting QB and shortstop for LSU. Played MLB for the Angels in the mid 70s until a tragic auto accident took his life. Never say never. :geauxtigers:
Had the Red Wings with the BOA, loved them on the offshore rig . Used until I retired , wish they had more boots with . Big thumbs up

re: The $20 YouTube TV credit

thanks, got my 20.00 credit
Nice look with the mix of conifers with maples , is your Baton Rouge about
6' ? All mine are in the ground now and I built cages around to protect from the deer  Back in the spring a deer nipped the top of my Hot Blonde, but it has recovered. I started putting deer guard cages on after that.
We live north of Alexandria - zone 8b - and planted a Sango Kaku back in late March. It held up really well in mostly sun . We have about 2 1/2 acres that I mow and has many tall hardwood trees , so some partial filtered sun / shade . Sango Kaku is one of our healthiest looking trees . I planted the Baton Rouge in the same area . The Baton Rouge originated just north of Houston and is said to be extremely heat tolerant and good for full sun. Check out Mr Maple on YouTube for info on Baton Rouge. They are my source for research and wonderful family to deal with.
Thanks, we were in the Smoky Mt.s before Halloween and went by their location . They were having an open house that weekend so we were able to check out the operation . Met the family and they are really nice folks. They did grab a Baton Rouge for us - and came home with 12 different trees
Not always , sometimes they catch it and shut down :wah:
Well I will need to drop YouTube TV and find another provider before the Bama game - if they don't get it sorted out. Does anyone know if ESPN got their stand alone package started yet ? TIA
:geauxtigers:
That sounds familiar :banghead:

re: Anyone had rotator cuff surgery?

My wife had both of her's repaired . The rehab is painful , but a must.. After rehab hit the gym, watch YouTube to learn best exercises for flexibility and strengthening. You will get there , its just tough.
