WILD FOOTAGE! Mosaad had bulit an entire drone facility deep inside Iran, which was activated as the IAF struck with 200 aircraft. The drones took out many surface-to-air missile launchers and ballistic missiles aimed at Israel. The entire Iran now has zero air defenses left.

But we are led to believe that China buying up all this land near our bases is completely above board and would in no way have nefarious intentions

There must be thousands of terrorists in our country from the porous border, with who knows what weapon systems. When the feds notified the Trump campaign that Iran was seeking to take him out before the election, IIRC they mentioned that they thought Iran had anti-air capability in the US. Which is why Trump flew on other planes and his own plane was used as a decoy

I get that drones can be an issue for surprise or in overwhelming numbers. If one is chasing you down in a field, though, why could you not just take it out with a shotgun?
For that matter, how hard would it be to just have a handheld thing that zeroes in on one and fires a tiny missile?
It seems like only a matter of time before there will be defense tools for these.
Again, the surprise attacks and overwhelming numbers factors are a different thing.
