I don't really see a scenario where this happens. my $300 DJI mini 4k can go up to 120 meters. the effective range of birdshot isn't ANYWHERE near that.
military grade drones could surveil and attack from distances that would make detection difficult to impossible let alone defending against with a shotgun.

Zelensky has always had closer ties to Israel than the US/West, and Israel gained a lot of strategic advantages over Iran with Russia being tied up/bogged down.
