I'm personally fine with letting Mexico have California back.

I bet it goes to shite in under 10 years.

Much less. I'd give it three.

Cartels would own it in 6 months and they would be fleeing into Nevada and Oregon.

CA is a top 8 global economy on its own, if someone is getting absorbed it would be Mexico unless CA has truly lost its will to exist.

i disagree....would add may too much more border for more to cross.....

Cut it off north of San Francisco and south of the Napa Valley.

Economic stimulus, more wall building jobs. The Adios Bitchachos Project.

I think it's the height of stupidity when someone says, "just let them have California". Why do the losers get to keep land they didn't found?
However, California, if given over to Mexico in a hypothetical, would indeed be like the rest of mexico in 10 years. I don't know if you've ever been across the border, but it's an incredibly shitty area. And it's not the geography, it's the people. Every ravine/ditch is on fire. EVERY ONE OF THEM. They throw their trash into the ravine and set it on fire. The pollution in most of Mexico, is astounding. Ironic considering lefties are all about "green" except when it comes to pollution, and setting cars and buildings on fire during riots.
And don't forget the whole cartel shite.

Can you name the largest port in North America?
ETA: (it's in California)

Not to mention the O&G reserves...
Damn it. I agree with Big Scrub.

CA is easily the most frustrating place I've visited.
Incredible natural advantages, massive modernized economy, great food, some of the best tourist destinations in the world and beautiful women.
Yet somehow every time I go the locals find ways to screw up what should easily be the best state in the nation.
Visit wine country? Rolling blackouts.
Go to Malibu? Fires have wiped areas out last two visits.
Hit the beach in LA? homelessness and trash.
Tech conference in SF? Crime, trash and junkies to step over at 9am.
Its like meeting a girl who looks like a supermodel, gets a perfect score on the ACT and yet makes terrible life choices and is an insufferable narcissist.
So much wasted potential.

These companies would move.
No fear at all, let the coastal strip from SF to San Diego become Mexican.
Give all federal land back to the natives while were at it.

If they took it over, it would be even more crappy than it is now.

So we get to keep "stolen" lands?
Nice.... Glad that's been settled.

Nope, it was fought for, conquered and should have been defended better. I prefer we arrest, deport or imprison and watch commifonia lose a few congressional seats.

No, you don’t want to hand that economy over to the cartels.
4th largest in the world in 2025.

Why? I’m ok with giving them their fricking Mexicans back. I would drive those mother frickers off the end of Baja.
